I am vacating or occupying a business premises
If you are vacating or occupying a business premises, complete our vacating or occupying business premises form.

I have split my premises into 2 or more units
If you have, or are planning to, split your premises into 2 or more separate units, you will need to contact us.
We will monitor the work taking place and refer the changes to the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) so that they can assess the rateable value for each of the new units.

I have merged my premises from 2 or more units into one
If you have, or are planning to, merge your premises from 2 or more units into one unit, you will need to contact us and let us know about your changes.
We will monitor the work taking place and refer the changes to the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) so that they can assess the rateable value for the newly merged unit.
Business rates will remain payable on all units until the VOA tell us they have amended the Rateable Value.

My business premises is newly built
If you have moved in to newly built premises and it has not yet been given a rateable value, you will need to register with us.
We will then refer the new premises to the Valuation Office Agency (VOA).
You can check if the premises has a rateable value on the Governments business rates valuation page.

I need to have a property removed from the business rate list
If you are looking to have your property zero rated or taken out of the Business Rate list, you will need to contact the Valuation Office.
Business Rates will remain payable until the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) have let us know about the change.
